Why is a slanted seat bad?

Elisabeth • 21 Mar 2023

Thank you so much for your great advice! You mention the Easywalker Jacky having a slanted seat - can you explain why this is bad? Thank you :)

Hello, Elisabeth,

Well, imagine you're sitting on a chair and your back is at an half-sitting, half-laying angle. You don't see well, and some 'times you slide down. Now I describe and extreme situation of course, however I've noticed, especially with the smaller buggies, that some kids - and some moms - mind that a lot. The narrower seat is not so comfy by itself, plus the child doesn't see out, has to hold on on the belly bar to pull itself forward, or kind of half nap. I noticed many moms asking me for strollers that are NOT like that - so I believe it may be a problem for many kids. Mine were reasonably ok with that, but also preferred a more upright position.

Attaching a Maxi-Cosi Jaya stroller pic so that you know what I mean by slanted = uncomfortable.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
