Can you advise on what is the best foldable buggy for tall children (not an umbrella style one - a proper small folding one). So many brands don’t give the back rest height which is really annoying! Considering Joolz Aer (updated one as apparently goes up to 22kg) but don’t want to spend that sort of money if my child will be too tall by 2.5!

Most, or better said all, of these small buggies are so small because all is made small, so you will always get less space in the seat. The only thing that changes at least kind of considerably is the backrest height and the space to the top of the canopy, and those are the things you should go for with a taller child.
The Joolz Aer is definitely one of the best choices as it is oneof the most spacious ones, with a tall seatback and a study frame for the type. Apart from that, the Bugaboo Butterfly is a higher seatback option, so definitely worth checking (but also not cheap), and you can perhaps also check the Recaro Lexa (not the reversible Elite though).
