I have a Joie Versatrax but I have had to buy a new car seat (opted for Maxi-Cosi Marble). The car seat has arrived so I put the pram up with the Joie adapters and the car seat will not fit on, am I supposed to be using different adapters?

Well, no, the Joie and Maxi-Cosi car seats have the same attachment system. It may be the Joie adapters are not meant for a large car seat like the Marble is, or the manufacturer just made it purposely so that the car seat only fits on specific MC adapters. I would ask the customer service but it is possible with some models that the manufacturer(s) just opted out of other brands on purpose.
