I have this one currently but was wondering if the flip xt2 seat unit might fit the frame I'm just trying to find a way to get a bumper bar without having to get a whole new pram

I think the frames are similar and in theory, the Flip XT2 could fit the attachment system but I haven't tried and honestly, I don't think it will fit with that bumper bar. You can always try to check in a shop or with M&P's customer service, but my guess would be it won't fit.
Perhaps you could explore having a bumper bar made, I mean a semi-solid bar covered with foam and fabric, and with velcoro sides to attach it. This is what I saw mothers do.
