I have bought hauk saturn r but it doesn't have safety straps in the carrycot, are there meant to be any? Also haven't noticed anywhere to attach them if I bought some. Thanks

No, there aren't meant to be any safety straps in the carrycot. Most, about 99%, of bassinets don't have any straps - it can pose a choking hazard for the baby in it.
