Cybex Eezy S+²: How roomy is the seat, and is the seat angle similar to Beezy's?

Gokce • 07 Sep 2023

Hi Eli,

I am considering buying this as an everyday all-terrain stroller. My question is, I can't be sure about the back rest angle simply because this model is only sold online, I tried other Cybex models to have and idea (Twist and Beezy) - could you tell me if Eezy S+2's seat unit is similar to Beezy as in angle-wise :) And also is it more roomy than Twist S2? Because that was a tiny tiny seat 🤓 there was no more room for growth (my baby is 18 months old- currently 10ish kg and around 80-85 cm).

I also looked at Baby Jogger City Mini GT, my baby was super comfortable, and the drive was really good, but the weight..🥲

Hey, Gokce,

Let me tell you that this is a small, compact stroller, so definitely don't expect any great all-terrain performance. It does have a tiny bit bigger wheels, compared to really "travel" strollers, still it is a smaller stroller, and the front wheels are no beasts, so on bumps, you will feel it, and on regular rough terrain you may loosen it up.

ABout the backrest, yes, the seatback is similar to the Beezy. It is not completely upright, but not crazy slanted either. The seat is also larger, quite considerably, than the Eezy S-Twist+2. However, the seat is smaller, compared to the Baby Jogger, as this is much closer to travel strollers than everyday strollers.

If you liked the City Mini GT2, but it felt a bit too heavy (btw, I would rather take a bit heavier and comfy than lighter and small and rattly for the child), I would suggest looking at the very similar but a bit less all-terrain Baby Jogger City Mini2 (non-GT), which is lighter but space-wise, the same.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
