Bugaboo Butterfly, Joolz Aer+, or Ergobaby Metro+ Deluxe - which is better for flying and occasional daily walks?

Inna • 14 May 2024

Hello Eli.

I need to choose a travel stroller, one of three (I ordered 3 and want to keep one). I need a stroller for 1 flight, 1 month in Florida, and from time to time for daily walks. I’m choosing between Bugaboo Butterfly (cons - sometimes hard to unfold - the button is stuck, very light wheels), Joolz Aer+ (cons - no footrest and no reason to buy - it’s not sturdy enough to use, short seat - not deep enough), Ergobaby Metro+ Deluxe (cons - shorter seat back). Please let me decide on your opinion bc each stroller is good for some point and some reason, and each one has some cons.

Hey, Inna,

The reality is that I personaly like the Aer+ the most out of these. But from what I read, you liked that the one the least, and it ll comes down to that. How does it feel for you,a nd how comfortable it is for your child.

I think that you should go with the one you mind the most. The Butterfly is probably the way to go, as just like the Aer, it's Iata approved (the Metro+ is a bit bugger, some airlines don't accept is as cabin luggage), the button should get smoother with use. However, if you want something sturdier, the Metro+ is nice in that aspect, and might be worth if that is your priority.

Just go with your heart, and pick one max. 2 priorities and the stroller that has those 1-2 things should e the keeper.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
