Actually, no, you don't. An Isofix base is first and foremost a help for the parent to quicker and easier attach the car seat to the car. If done properly, to attach the car seat with the car seatbelt is absolutely enough. And to fit the car seat on the stroller's frame, you don't need th ebase at all - you normally only need adapters for the stroller's type.
