I was told that not all Baby Jogger bassinets will fit the Baby jogger city premier, is it so? And if so, what bassinet model will?

Not all bassinets will fit the City Premier, no. The older ones will though (as the model is already discontinued) - the Compact carrycot or the Deluxe carrycot. You need to be checking the older bassinets n classifieds as those bassinets are no longer sold.
