Baby Jogger City Mini Zip: The most everyday-ish lightweight stroler for a 26 months old

Mamariver • 03 May 2024

Hi Eli,

Thank you for this amazing site <3 U am searching for the most every day-ish (if super lucky maybe close to all terrain-ish) lightweight stroller for my 26m old 11 kg 86 cm kid :) She likes walking and exploring around so if I can find a stroller i can fold and carry in a bag (or at least carry with one hand) so my hands are empty/ready for the suprises of the toddler mom life, it would be a dream come true. I have an Uppa Cruz which she loves (upright, comfy, loves napping in it) and so do I, but it's bulky and a tad worn out at this moment :) Do you think city mini zip can do the job?

Heya,

Yeah, well, I think the Mini Zip is actually a fantastic, though already a bit lódler model. YOu might have to get one pre-owned as they are not much to be sold new anymore. The only thing you will feel, compared to yourCruz, are the small wheels which definitely aren't for much terrain. Otherwise the buggy is practical and light.

Apart from it, I will recommend looking at the Cybex Eezy S+2 which has a bit larger wheels than other in that category, while still being light and small. And also check out the Joolz Hub which again has small wheels, but otherwise is sturdier and nicer to handle, compared to others like that one.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
