The back wheels on my Aprica don't turn to help guide the direction. So when I turn the handle to have my baby face me, it's very difficult to maneuver. Is there some secret tip where I can get the wheels to somehow unlock and move freely?

No, unfortunately, there isn't. The reverse-facing setup has no way of the wheels turning. Which is why most manufacturers stopped doing the flipping handle, it is truly not too comfortable to maneuver like that, not just this stroller, but any (as the center of gravity changes so much as well)
