An umbrella stroller with a maximum folded length of 100cm for a 2yo. No rattling+single handle pls

Hi,

Could you advise some good-looking, stylish umbrella pushchair that would not be longer than 100 cm when folded? I have a combi car, and I would like to push it far behind the seats and occasionally use for shopping, trips, short undemanding walks... My DS doesn't sleep in the pushchair anymore, so no need for a lay-flat seat, but it could recline at least a bit (just in case 😀).

I don't know if there are such that would only have single (not double) wheels (at least in the front), and one single, connected handlebar. I would like that, but I can adjust in that area. Mainly I expect quality and stylish looks . those are my priorities 🙂

There's no price limit - I will rather pay extra for something non-rattling, quiet-ish. Are there some travel bags to this kind of buggy? We got one for our pushchair we used on plane travels, so maybe there's something like that for an umbrella buggy as well.

Thank you for your answer. I already got advice from you and chose right thanks to that, so I can't wait to hear more to solve this situation as well <3

Hello!

if you truly only want an umbrella-folding pushchair (btw, why not an ultracompact instead), the length after folding will only be under 100 cm if it's handle(s) are very low-positioned when it's open. And I definitely don't recommend having such a model; it's a pain in the ass to push.

I will rather advise a little bit of a hybrid - the Baby Jogger City Mini Zip. A small, but awesome pushchair that is very similar to umbrella buggies, but with a specific (one-handed) type of fold and good, quality, even though smaller wheels, comfy seat, great push, and super-compact to add to it. I think it would meet your needs 100%, functionality-wise - maybe only not the included travel bag, but there is a City Mini Zip travel bag available to purchase separately.

To give you more to choose from, I would suggest a more expensive, but quality and driveability-wise excellent option - the Joolz Aer travel buggy. It's that pushchair/buggy/umbrella pushchair combo with great features; a downside would be the price and the fact that you need to buy accessories (apart from a travel bag - that is included with this model) separately. A bumper bar, a leg rest, all that, if you need it, you will pay for.

From the mid-price range category, I will mention the GB Qbit+ All-City, the GB Pockit+ All-City, nd maybe also Ergobaby Metro or the Cybex Eezy S+ ultaracompacts.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
