Hi Eli,

I'm looking for a lie flat stroller with good suspension and a seat that will last up until around 3 to 4 years of age. Large hood/canopy with UV protection.

I've shortlisted the Peg Perego Veloce, Cybex Balios S Lux and ABC Design Salsa 4/4 air.

Mainly city urban use, with the occasional country park walk (so slightly uneven terrain). These 3 seem pretty similar, the Cybex has a higher basket weight capacity which is useful but not a necessity.

Would you recommend any one of these over another?

Hey, Helen,

The good thing to know where is that almost no reversible stroller will last until 3-4 years of age. One thing is the space, a reversible seat has the canopy right over the backrest and simply feels tight after those 2, 2.5 years (usually). The second thing is the bulkiness of such strollers, and the changing need of the parents as well as a 2+ years old toddler - you'll need the stroller much less, and will prefer something light, compact, much simpler (again, usually).

That being said, space-wise, the Salsa line (non Air will be enough for urban uses has a HUGE canopy and a very large seat as well as bassinet. The seat is simpler, that needs to be said, however space-wise, it is probably the one that will last you the best out of the three. OK suspension on the Salsa, too.

The second choice would be the Balios S, from my point of view, as it feels a bit more practical and with better suspension that the Veloce.
