Looking for a compact folding buggy for an 18 month old who is already 90cm tall. Which buggies have the tallest backrests and is suitable for tall children. Needs to go up to 22kg.

It depends on how compact your compact buggy should be. However, if it should have the tallest backrest possible, and be really really compact, your choices are limited. I will suggest the Bugaboo Butterfly (56cm backrest), Joolz Aer (54.5cm seatback), and perhaps also the cheaper Kinderkraft Nubi 2 (48.5 seat back, and the stroller will be considerably less high-quality but will work ok if that space is your only or main priority).
