Hi Eli,

I currently have an Uppababy Vista that we love for our daily use in the suburbs. However, we are going to be travelling a fair bit and would like to purchase a travel stroller that can be taken easily as hand luggage.

I’m going back and forth between the Joolz Aer and the Ergobaby. Since this won’t be a primary stroller, the Ergobaby seems the most economical for our needs. Please let me know if I’m on the right track or if there’s any other stroller I should consider.

Hey, Nimo,

Well, it depends. I mean, the Ergobaby Metro Plus is a nice stroller, sturdy, and padded, so it definitely is not a bad choice, and if the saved money is indeed important for you, it is an absolutely ok option.

Personally, I would probably go for the Aer(+) though, as neither of these is super cheap, all the while the Aer has a much taller backrest (will last you longer, more years) ALL THE WHILE it is much smaller after folding. With the Metro, you need to check with your airline to be sure it will fit the overhead compartment, as it doesn't with some airlines. The Aer is smaller and so it should be easier to take. And I also like its extra seat ventilation.

In any case. if the Ergobaby fits you airline's requirement, it is, as I said, a totally good choice to make.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
