A cabin-sized reversible stroller with a large hood and an adjustable handle

Kimi • 15 Jun 2024

Hello Eli,

Just want to ask for any recommendations for strollers. (Apologies if I have a lot of preferences.)

First, I prefer a parent-facing and world-facing setup (I have a 2-month-old baby). Also, a large canopy would be nice since, I like to stroll on sunny days. It would be good if it’s compact since we like to travel and can fit in a plane’s cabin. Also, I’m 5 ft tall and would prefer an adjustable handle. Lastly, an affordable one would be perfect. Thank you so much in advance.

Hey, Kimi,

I am so sorry, but yeah, that's a lot of preferences, and I am not totally sure it's doable. If it's reversible, it's always larger, and the only cabin-approved reversible model(s) are honestly not what I would recommend to you, and none has a large sun canopy. Then, that specific design means it won't be cheap either. And so, I would recommend either not going for a reversible seater or not going for a cabin-sized fold; I am sorry (and I am not even taking the reversible handle into account cause that would leave nothing, you unfortunately cannot pack everything into such a small stroller size).

In any case, and with some compromise in mind, I would tell you to look at the Cybex Eezy S-Twist+², the Anex Air-Z, and the Recaro Lexa Elite, even if also in classifieds to get them cheaper. And then, I'd recommend visiting one or two larger baby stores and check what's out there, and for what price, in real life, maybe you'll see and compare the possibilities and find a compromise that will maybe surprise you in a good way.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
