Noordi Sole II

DISCONTINUED in 2021
see 3 parent reviews

The Noordi Sole II is a second generation of the robust, affordable Noordi Sole stroller system. The difference between the Noordi Sole and the Sole II is mainly in a design update (like details and accessories, e.g., the changing bag) - the functionality stays the same.

This robust-frame pram with inflatable wheels with a low tyre profile and a soft, adjustable suspension system is suitable even for worse terrain. The Sole II chassis can be folded with or without the seat unit attached, and it's also distinctive for the paw pattern on the tires as well as other stroller system's details.

The spacious carrycot boasts a large, extendable canopy with a ventilation mesh panel as well as thermoregulatory bottom ventilation. There's a mosquito net in the pouch inside, as well. The fully reversible seat unit offers backrest and leg rest individual adjustment and the height-regulation of the bumper bar, too. There's a seat insert in the seat for better padding and comfort for a smaller child. A car seat can be attached to the chassis with Maxi-Cosi-style adapters, and a full set of basic accessories (even a cup holder or a nappy bag) is included with the 2in1 / 3in1 Sole stroller system.

  • Price
  • Nice look
  • Large bassinet
  • No-maintenance wheels
  • Bulky fold
  • Seat Unit - looks so much better on the pictures than in real life use
  • Bag

We got it because of the price. I liked either the Tutis Uno or the Noordi Fjordi, but this was very similar, just cheaper. The difference presented to me was a simpler bassinet - no "foam" on the sides, just plastic - but maybe that is why it was maybe larger 👌. Also, you only use the bassinet for a few months, so I didn't want to overspend for something just used at the start. It worked fine for those 7 months we used it.

The seat part, though, I cannot say I like. It seems too large while not as practical. I struggle putting it in our boot and I feel bad about how the canopy looks. The padding is nice... I just "hold on" for a few weeks more and then move on to a Britax B-Motion+ we already ordered.

  • numerous accessories included (mosquito net, rain cover, sunshade, changing bag, cup holder)
  • suitable for taller parents
  • price (depends)
  • spacious bassinet
  • adjustable backrest
  • gel/PU wheels
  • quality mattress
  • easy folding
  • lockable wheels
  • reflective elements
  • wide chassis
  • heavy
  • someone could mind the oversoft suspension
  • price (depends)
  • small basket (only up to 5 kg)
  • not available pre-loved
  • I miss some kind of pocket

We didn't want a cheap Polish stroller brand, but also we didn't want anything too expensive. Noordi was, therefore, a nice compromise for us. We choose the Sole - practically the same as the Fjordi, but cheaper. We only bought a 2in1 system, because I found no tests of their car seats (and bought a better car seat separately).

This pram is really robust, but it also seems to be of quality. The included accessories are very practical, no need to buy anything more. I am only sorry that the 2020 models don't have the mosquito net integrated - it's separate on these newer ones, so you have to pack it into the bag. I appreciated the adjustable handlebar, good even for a 2m tall person. The carrycot can be closed up very well - perfect for bad weather or too much sun. There is a ventilation mesh in the back - if you need it.

It's easy to push even one-handedly, no probeĺem even on cobblestones, and with some effort, you will pass a tall grass or a dirt road.

The bassinet is super spacious. You'll be glad for the backrest incline in it if your baby suffers from reflux. I miss some space to hang a toy inside. The apron is attached with two loops.

The biggest downside is the robustness and high weight of the stroller system. It can happen that you are unable to pass through the shop aisles or narrow doors. You will feel the weight, so it's nothing for petite moms or those that need to carry their stroller up the stairs. The folding is, however, quite easy, you just need to get a knack for it. We even managed to put it into a hatchback boot, but nothing else could be put in the boot with it.

The price is, I would say, average. I would actually think it could cost a bit less than it does, and I was looking for pre-loved - but got to know the older models had problems with the chassis, and still, it was hard to find some used one. We only bought the adapters (Maxi-Cosi/Cybex) extra - those are really hard to attach/detach to the chassis...

I highly recommend it

  • Easy handling
  • Elegant design
  • Suitable for harsh terrain
  • Chassis is easy to fold/unfold
  • Ventilation hood
  • Maintenance-free wheels
  • Large carrycot
  • Nothing

I am very satisfied with this stroller and highly recommend it.

Note: I found that a description saying that it features air-filled tired - this is untrue. The wheels are gel-filled, maintenance-free. Also, the mosquito net is separate from the seat unit or carrycot part, but it is included with it.
