Kinderkraft Vesto

see 1 parent review

The Kinderkraft Vesto is a 2021 variation of the Kinderkraft All Road reversible pushchair. The difference between the Kinderkraft Vesto and the Kinderkraft All Road is in the wheels - the Vesto features EVA foam wheels while the All Road features slightly larger, more all-terrain rubber wheels with thread.**

The Vesto is also only available in the pushchair mode only. The reversible seat unit is fully reclinable up to a lie flat. The stroller boasts not only an attractive price tag but also an all-wheel suspension system, a one-hand fold frame doable even with the seat attached parent- as well as world-facing, and the UV protective, waterproof fabrics. Apart from its budget-friendly price, the main attraction of the Vesto is the relative spaciousness of the seat and the accessories included (a rain cover, a mosquito net, a leg cover, and a cup holder).

parents say thx^^
  • Price tag
  • Style
  • The pink color is so pretty
  • A rather long seat
  • Parent AND forward-facing
  • Folds with the seat part
  • Rattly wheels on bumps
  • Thin fabrics
  • Foam handle
  • Quality is proportional to the price
  • Open seat in the reclined position

I can hear the front wheels quite a lot on cobblestones or worse bumps. The seat is nice and roomy but the fabrics are rather thin. You get what you pay for - in the good as well as the bad sense. As a very budget-oriented model, I honestly can recommend it.

Your questions about the Kinderkraft Vesto

1)

Hi! I have a Lascal buggy board Mini and wondered if it would work with this pram? I would like something where the toddler is standing in front of the handle. Thanks

Heya,

It should be possible to attach a Lascal buggy board, yes. The Mini is, however, smaller and shorter, so I cannot promise your child will be able to stand in front of the handlebar.

Does this fit into the boot of a Ford Fiesta when folded? Thanks

Hey, Lyndsay,

It should fit, yeah. Worst comes to worse, you can always store it in the boot in two pieces (seat folded separately) and remove the wheel even.

3)

Does it come with footmuff? Are the straps adjustable and comfortable when baby is wearing a thick coat?
Thank you

Hiya, Sissi,

The Vesto comes only with an apron - a leg cover, bit not a full footmuff included, you will have to get that on your own, a universal one of a better brand would anyhow be a better choice.

About the harness straps, they are adjustable, however never expect crazy long belts on a reversible stroller. If your child is small, it will be ok in winter "gear", however for a large toddler in think clothing it might be a tight fit. Since I don't know your child age, weight and size, it is hard to tell and it is best to try the pushchair out live if possible, of course.

4)

How am I going to change it from forward facing to parent facing?

Hiya, Essel,

You should definitely keep and consult the stroller's manual for such things - in any case, the Vesto is, seat unit-wise, the same as the All Road, so I am attaching the Kinderkraft All Road video manual where you can see how to lift the seat at about 4:30.

The whole process is an easy, even if a bit surprising one - you need to move the backrest a bit forward to align the grey markers on the side, and just lift - there is no lever or button.

Can this pram be taken on the plane for travel?

Hey there,

Pretty much every pram or pushchair can be taken on the plane - either as checked paid luggage, or as free baby luggage which you usually give to the stewards when boarding, and are returned when getting off.

You cannot, however, take this one as a piece of a carry-on/cabin luggage, as the dimensions when folded are larger than a usual cabin suitcase. Always check with the airline, but with a child under 2 or 3, you are pretty sure to be able to take a stroller with you.

6)

What age range is this pram suitable for?

Hello, Sarah,

We put the recommended age (our suggestion, not the manufacturer's) in the Specifications part – you just need to click on the Seat Unit to open it up. We recommend using it from 2 to 36 months. This, of course, varies with mom's expectations, child's size, and the season, but this is our best general suggestion.

7)

How do you adjust the straps to fit the baby’s needs?

Hi, Alex,

There are height settings you can choose from (it's a retread system and "holes"), and each of the 5 harness buckles has a slide up-slide down clip that adjusts its length.
