Jané Trider

The Jané Trider is a three-wheel version of the Jané Rider. It is a luxury, dynamic, high-performance stroller that won several design awards. The inverted "C" shaped rear structure makes room for your feet so you will not kick the stroller while walking. It has a good suspension system with an adjustable spring tension. Compared to the Rider, it has larger, easy to maneuver wheels and a pop-out sun visor on the hood. The reversible bucket-type seat is placed higher so you can also use it as a high chair. It can be tilted to a fully reclined position. The storage space of the small shopping basket can be expanded by a sold-separately net basket fastened to the rear part of the chassis.

The seat and the carrycot are attached to the chassis using the Pro-Fix system. All the newer types of carrycots will also fit this attachment system. You can choose among the Micro or the Nano foldable carrycots or the Transporter or the Matrix Light carrycots that can be used in the car. You can also attach a Concord or Be Cool carrycot to the chassis. An optional car seat is also available, or you can buy the Trider as a complete stroller system.

The latest models have an innovative soft-touch handle, instead of the older, foam ones. You can also identify them by the modern textiles without the wipe-clean leg rest, longer seat liner which is included with the seat and an improved, more rounded extendable hood.

Amazing

An amazing stroller. This one has seen my two kids, now my sister's third and still looks great. No damage.

It pushes great

It handles beautifully and it pushes great.

  • Easy to drive
  • Brake (mechanism on the handle) is a cool feature
  • Design 😍
  • I don't know what to reproach here...

I am very satisfied with this stroller. My daddy backed into it with his car even, and man, it did survive that... with scratches, of course.

Your questions about the Jané Trider

1)

Hi I have a 2nd hand Jane Trider and it's missing the bumper bar plus the basket is broken - is there a away to purchase those parts? Also, the foot part on the seat is flaking - how would I go about fixing that?

Regards, Sonja

Hi, Sonja,

I am sorry but I'm afraid you won't fix it as much as you'd want to. I'll start with the seat - the flaking can't be fixed. You need new covers, which you can get only by either buying a second (new or pre-owned) one and using it for parts OR getting in touch with a seller selling this brand and model, a distributor or Jané's customer service, with the other part being able to sell or give you that part (in this case, the cover or the whole seat). Definitely try emailing and calling the manufacturer or any Jané seller around you.

Moving on to the bummer, bar, here, again, is the same case - you need a spare belly bar meaning either using a second-hand part or a new part from the manufacturer or any seller/distributor ordering it for you. They are not just sold as-is.

Lastly, about the basket, again, you need a spare one, or you can have a tailor make a new one, copying the one you already have (that is broken). They can even use better materials, like eco-leather or a thicker fabric, but this will cost you as it will be tailor-made.

It is, in general, hard to get spare parts, but the way to get them is only to contact a seller of the brand in your country, or directly the manufacturer - OR buy a second one pre-loved and use it for parts. Not really any way around this.
