  • Spacious carrycot with an adjustable backrest
  • Heavy, with a difficult manipulation

We owned this tandem - and bought it with a single purpose - to use through our first winter with the twins when the children were still sleeping in the carrycots. We needed them to fit comfortably even with footmuffs. We had bought a side-by-side stroller afterward, but for the first winter, we bought this one pre-loved. We were actually happy to sell it after the winter was over.

Every child has its own large carrycot. The possible incline in the carrycot is great if the baby suffers from reflux. However, it is not suitable for already sitting children. In the seat units, the children sit very high. They need to be lifted there - no chance of them getting in or out the seats by themselves. For active children, I would be afraid that even when strapped in, they could fall out of the seats and get hurt.

Another point - it's a heavy stroller. With twins, you can feel every extra kilogram. Just those two children weigh over 20-30kg together. To this, you add the weight of the stroller and... oof. Incomparable to a side.by-side, manipulation-wise. Btw, this stroller is extra-long, compared to other tandem strollers. Children are comfortable (like in a regular single stroller), but it is at the expense of the hard work of a pushing adult. The heavier the children, the worse it is to drive. You can even feel a strong side wind making it worse. Going uphill or in the snow one, even an empty Domino is hard to push.

To sum up, it did what we needed it to do for us. We bought it really cheap. But I would never buy a new one. After winter, we got rid of it (with joy) and moved on to our lightweight side-by-side (which I loved).
