The Hauck Uptown is an urban, forward-facing stroller handy for its one-hand quick fold as well as simplicity (therefore, ease of use). The non-reversible seat is spacious enough for an older child, which it can accommodate thanks to its 25 kg weight capacity. A small baby of a regular napper will benefit from the full recline or the possibility to pair the seat up with an insert soft carrycot bag or with car seat adapters (sold separately). A cup holder is included with the Uptown stroller.

Would these wheels be ok on grass?

Well, yes and no. For undemanding purposes, occasional grass will be survivable But the suspension is not too present and the stroller is a bit on the cheaper side, so anything harsher will be quite felt. But if you just need it to "survive" the grass, I think it should be kind of ok.
A slightly better option, however, might be the Kinderkraft Grande.
Can you add a buggy board, and is the handle adjustable/extendable?

The handlebar can adjust, yes. It slides in and out to telescope from 100 to 106 cm.
You can add a buggy board to this stroller, you will have to go for a universal one, like a LAscal or a Bumprider.
Can you take the pushchair apart to wash in the washing machine?

No, the Uptown is not meant to be washed in the machine, and perhaps it is possible, but by no means eays to take it apart. Realistically it is supposed to be hand-washed.
Do they come with the rain cover or would I need to order separately?

As far as I know, they don't come with a rain cover by definition (unless a particular seller created a different deal just for his shop). So you will probably need to get the rain cover separately (a universal one should be just fine). Definitely check with the seller of your choice though.
Does this Hauck up down parent face, please, if you can use a car seat with it?

The seat alone will never parent-face; it is not reversible. The car seat, when clicked on, however, does face the parent only, so the capsule will be over the seat, and the baby looking at you.

There should be an adapter for the Uptown in particular, at least there was when the stroller was released. The adapter was only included in the travel system (Shop 'n Drive) sets though, and I cannot find it sold separately anywhere anymore. You can only try to contact any seller/distributor of this brand and/or model around you, or try to contact directly the manufacturer, asking about the part. Other then that, you can browse classifieds, maybe someone is selling a Hauch Uptown car seat adapter. However, the chances, as I checked, are slim, and you might not get one, ending up only using your car seat in the car, not on the stroller frame, I am sorry to say.

The manufacturer doesn't provide the exact measurement of the seat back, just the whole surface length of 88 cm, and I don't have this model at hand to measure it for you. I can make an educated guess and tell you the seatback will be about 45-47 cm tall.

I am sorry but no, it isn't compatible with any other car seat than the Hauck dedicated one. The Hauck brand, being a very budget-friendly one, makes their Shop'n'Drive systems so that you are obliged to get their car seat. Btw, the Hauck car seats are actually rather good, safety-wise, even if not the most stylish and features-full.
