Is it suitable for 3-6 years age .. and is it cabin approved??
Hey, Nino,
No, definitely not. The seat is small and the stroller gets really hard to steer with a heavier toddler, so for a 3-6yo it will be very tight and for you as the parent - pusher, hard to menuver.
It should fit cabin luggage requirements, but you always have to check with your airline of choice as the allowed measurements are different from airline to airline, and this stroller doesn't have a universal certification.

Does this sit the child upright, we have a very inquisitive toddler, she has hypermobility so needs something that will be durable as she is 2.5years and still tires easily.
If not could you recommend some strollers please (UK-based).

I will probably disappoint you but no, the Hauck Sunny doesn't have an upright straight-up seatbackrest, really. Overall it's true that almost no ultra-compact buggy like this (meaning something very very small after folding - so small that it fits an overhead compartment) have an upright seatback. Also, it is true they are not sturdy to last with a larger child and for everyday use - they are designed to be mainly used for occasional use while traveling (that is, in shops, in airport halls etc.
Here, I strongly recommend reading this article about ultra-compact strollers and why they're not the best for everyday use. I mean, I had a few and I am not against them - they're very handy thanks to the small size, but they often disappoint moms thinking they can be sturdy or roomy enough. Not even talking about the upright seat back.
Another very important point to tell you here is that the Sunny is a budget pushchair - and with these, the more budget-friendly it will be, the less sturdy it will be, so that is also good to take into account.
Still not the absolute upright sitting angle, but I would look at (even pre-loved) Uppababy Minu, which, sturdiness-wise, is very nice and long-lasting. From the ultracompacts, the Elodie Mondo buggy is rather upright, but of course, it is not the perfect 90-degree angle. An OK choice would also be the Cybex Eezy S+2.
But I would strongly suggest thinking about if you need that small of a stroller (and if you truly need it to be as sturdy), also think about the budget, and then, many go and try a few in a shop just to have an idea of what I am talking about. Good luck 🤞
