Chicco Multiride

The simple, affordable urban world-facing pushchair to travel system
.eli
see 5 parent reviews

Chicco Multiride is a lightweight stroller with a minimalist design mainly suitable for the city, but with a capability to handle some light terrain as well. In any case, that's a manufacturer claim supported with its made by its rubber wheels equipped with suspension. In addition to that, you will also appreciate the attractive price of the stroller, its fully reclinable seat with a weight capacity of up to 22 kg, its XXL shopping cart, or the one-hand fold in one step.

For a small baby, you can use the seat in the fully reclined position, but also the compatibility with the Chicco Kaily car seat (adapters needed). With that, you will be able to use the Multiride as a practical and fast-folding travel system, for example, for shopping or trips. The stroller comes with a rain cover, a seat liner, and a waterproof apron included.

Happy with the maneuvering

4
  • maneuverability
  • large all terrain wheels
  • canopy with upf
  • large basket
  • telescopic handle
  • no window to peek on the child
  • simpler design and fabrics

On the simple side, design wise… The fold is, though, super easy, the wheels are all-terrain, and it fits out trunk just fine. Happy with the maneuvering as well.

  • maneuverability
  • sturdy frame
  • large hood
  • large rubberized wheels
  • it's on the bulkier side

I was very - and positively - surprised about how comfortable to maneuver it is. After a Kinderkraft Grande we had before, it's an INCREDIBLE change. I can heartily recommend it!

  • Simple and sleek
  • Very high apron included
  • Rasy to push
  • Large canopy + apron cover the whole child
  • Nice handle height
  • Padded seat
  • Upright seat
  • Lever operated recline
  • I miss a viewing window
  • Could be a bit more compact

Bought it on sale, and it’s a very nice value for that money. The seat is on the shorter side but comfy and nicely padded, and fits a 3yo fine anyhow.

So happy it reclines with a lever, not a strap. The push is comfortable and the pushchair works for most terrains. Overall, recommended.

It feels quite cheap. The wheels rattle on any kind of terrain. I cannot recommend it.

Nothing much, but could be worse

  • price
  • design
  • large canopy
  • large basket
  • telescopic handlebar
  • handlebar is not foam-covered
  • one-hand fold
  • no peek-a-boo window
  • no ventilation
  • noisy on terrain (not all-terrain)
  • short leg rest
  • the folded stroller doesn't really stand by itself much

I like the design, and the price was nice. Canopy is large enough, but I miss a peek-a-boo window - and also some ventilation. I would also make the leg rest longer. And one more thing - even though the manufacturer claims all-terrain ability, it's actually rather noisy on uneven surfaces, so I cannot say you truly can use it on all terrain. I have it mainly for the car, shopping trips, and such light use, and for that, it's ok. Nothing much, but could be worse.

Your questions about the Chicco Multiride

1)

Hi is the seat reversible? Are you to change it to parent-facing or is it fixed in position (street-facing)?
Thank you

Hi, Seema,

No, this pushchair is forward-facing only, it cannot parent-face.

If you open the stroller's specifications - the part Seat Unit, you will also find this information ^_^
