Is this stroller ok for all terrain surfaces, and is the weight capacity of up to 22 kg?
The maximum weight capacity of the Joie Chrome DLX is actually 17.5 kg in the seat. That being said, the seat is on the shorter side and is best suited for children up to about 2 years of age, 2.5yo if the child is smaller for its age. A maximum weight limit is one thing, but the real seat's spaciousness is something else.
To the wheels' all-terrain capacity, the Chrome DLX is certainly not an all-terrain stroller in my eyes. It does get noisy/rattly on bumps and holes, and the front wheels are rather small. Parents also report the frame not being too sturdy. I would suggest the Joie Chrome mostly for urban surfaces with only a little harsher terrain ride if absolutely necessary.
Just FYI: I already answered this question about the Joie Chrome DLX here for more information and points of view. 😉
