Will a Cam Cortina 3 accept a BeSafe car seat? Or which other stroller for this car seat and forest walks?

Hi.

My wife and I recently became parents to a wonderful baby girl called Rhea. We wanted to get a good car seat and the BeSafe iZi Go X1 came well reviewed and recommended. But now we find ourselves stranded for a good stroller.
The one we have now is doing the job but the car seat doesn't fit (it is second hand and possibly very ancient Cam Cortina X3).

Do you know if such adapters exist or if we should buy a different stroller and adapters? If so, which would you recommend?

We live in the city but travel with the stroller quite frequently and take it into the forest. No heavy off-road but some pretty bumpy roads/paths.

Hey, Luke,

Unfortunately, Cam strollers don't offer any other car seat compatibility except for their own brand (Cam). They don't offer any adapters either, so you won't be able to attach your BeSafe car seat there, unfortunately.

If you do need to carry your car seat on the stroller's frame, you will need a different one. Any that offer Maxi-Cosi/Cybex car seat adaptors will do for the BeSafe as well except for Maxi-Cosi strollers themselves which's adapters are shorter). For bumpy roads, something like the Baby Jogger City Mini GT(2) will be great, not too large but very nice on uneven surfaces. Apart from that, the Thule Urban Glide is a similar pushchair to the Cortina, but more modern - it just doesn't face the parent.

And you may also like the Britax Go Big - not really being sold anymore, but an incredibly comfortable, even if a it bulky model that, with Maxi-Cosi/Cybex adapters, will give you a great, comfortable ride as well as a reversible seat unit.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
