Peg-Pérego Selfie: Selfie vs. Yoyo vs. Joolz Aer for traveling (& a Peg-Pérego car seat taken into account)

Ashley L • 03 Apr 2023

Hi!

I already own the Agio by Peg Perego Primo Viaggio 4-35 Lounge Reclining Infant Car Seat for by Z4 stroller.

I am looking to travel and specifically on an airline. I was thinking the Selfie may be a good choice if bringing my Peg Preggo carseat because it would click in with an adapter but not sure if it would fit in the airline.

Also, was debating the Selfie vs. Joolz Aer (which I believe those 2 are not car seat compatible?). Not sure on advice which is better?

Thank you!

Heya, Ashley,

If you want to use Peg-Pérego car seat with your ultra-compact, you will only have to go for the Selfie, as the other two only offer adapters for Maxi-Cosi/Cybex style attachment system of car seats. The Selfie is a tad larger, especially with the bumper bar, but many airlines should accept it as cabin luggage with the bumper bar removed.

From the other options, the Joolz Aer would actually be a better, higher quality option from my experience - more spacious, sturdier, and has really nice suspension for such small wheels. You will have to use it with a different car seta, though.

The Yoyo is too short in the backrest area, and also very slanted for my own personal taste. I would not pay the money for it, but that is of course my subjective experience.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
