Joolz Aer: Aer's vs. Minu V2's canopis and reclines - how do they compare?

CC • 24 May 2022

How does the canopy compare to the Minu V2? Do you prefer the Minu V2 recline?

Heya, CC,

The Hub's canopy is not huge, nor it is tiny for the type either. The coverage is pretty much similar, while the Minu's being perhaps a tiny tad larger (and the Aer has a larger mesh ventilation part which is at the same time a good thing, but also a bad thing as you cannot cover it while also having an extended canopy) - not really making much of a difference on a very hot summer day, I'm afraid, still. What actually will make a difference for you, or any other summer stroller user is the possibility of any universal sun shade, which will cover the child's lower half. In Aer's case, they make a dedicated original sunshade for literally full protection, so that would be an accessory that wins this round.

About the recline, I think they are, again, similar. For a less than 6 months old baby, not an ideal setup, but for toddlers, both will be ok for napping. What makes a difference here is the deeper seat space of the Aer, which makes the child slide down less. The downside is no included leg rest on the Aer, but if you are willing to pay extra for the leg rest, it might be a little more comfy solution for napping. Again, however, the difference is very very small in terms of comfort or angle, so I would suggest lookingat what you "like" here more rather than a 100 % clear selling point.

Your -very berry- Eli.
