Baby Jogger City Mini GT2: Will it fit a small elevator?

Hi Eli,

Thanks for this detailed review! I'm seriously considering the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 because I have great references of the old BJ City Mini 3, but I also want to use it for weekend - light countryside walks. My problem is that the elevator in my building is not huge (99cm from the door to the back and 90cm wide) and im not sure if it will fit...

I know the City Mini 3 is the biggest one that fits, and the gt2 is supposed to be 5cm longer.
The stores in my city don't have BJ anymore (selling only online now in Spain) so I can't really take a look at it.

So my question is quite specific:
Do you by any chance know how long the adjustable handlebar is? And how long is the stroller with the handlebar folded in the highest position?

Hiya, Belen,

I don't have it at hand at the moment so cannot give you the precise measurements. I, however, think it should totally fit if you fold - rotate the handlebar upward or downward, getting at least 4-5 cm, and if you put the pushchair diagonally and/or gently lift the front or the rear wheels if there's really a problem, you will be fine for sure. I mean, it is a few seconds in the elevator, and I have managed something similar in an even smaller lift, too.

WHat I wanted to say is that I believe it won't be a huge problem and you will fit it in there one way or another, I am pretty sure.
