A stroller with a height-adjustable reversible seat

Ruma • 19 Nov 2022

Hi Eli,

I am looking for a stroller with a height-adjustable reversible seat and I only find Stokke Xplory. Is there a similar stroller with a nicer/less extraordinary design?

Background: I bought a used Cybex Mios, but am not happy with it. It doesn't seem very sturdy (compared to BJ City Mini GT2, which I also own) and the wheels are way too small for slightly rough terrain. I would love to have an alternative until I feel OK to seat the baby in a forward-faced seat...

Thanks for your reply

Hiya, Ruma,

There are a few strollers like that, however you need to always count on a bit of looseness in that area since it's a movable part, the height adjusting mechanism. From Haucl Walk N Care (not really my fav), the Joie Aeria - much sturdier however some people complained about rattly front wheels (could be solved with a rubber band in the joints, I believe), Easywalker Harvey or Easywalker Charley... or those single-to-double prams that usually offer height adapters (like iCandy, ).

I, however, would rather go for a higher seat (e.g. Joie Finiti/Versatrax) and not really limit myself to that height-changing option as that is really quite rare.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
