A more upright three-wheeler with handbrake for terrain and inline skating

Emmi • 02 Jun 2022

I am looking for an all terrain stroller. Preferably 3 wheels, with suspension, not too wide (about 63 cm maximum), a handbrake (for deceleration) and a seat that can be quite upright. I looove the Thule Urban Glide 2, but the seat is too laid back and it’s just a bit too wide. We would like to use it for walks in the woods and I would also like to use it with inline skates (short distances). Carrycot not needed.

Thank you for your advice!

Heya, Emmi,

I am not sure if you are restricted in terms of budget, but I would most certainly suggest the TFK brand from Germany. Their three-wheelers are a bit more upright (not totally. no forward-facing three-wheeler will be totally upright) and narrower (the TFK Joggster Trail 2, for example, is 57 cm wide and very very high quality, just not available everywhere and not cheap).

Apart from those, I will recommend the Mounatin Buggy Terrain V3 (a bit more slanted, but less than the Thule), which is 63 cm wide. The Bumbleride Indie could also work, and that is 62 cm wide.

My last suggestion will be the Uppababy Ridge which is much more upright, but it is 66 cm wide, unfortunately, and again not available everywhere, so be sure to check.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
