A lightweight stroller that will be ok in the countryside while being easy to carry

Irma • 07 Apr 2022

Hi, I hope you can help me :)

I'm looking for a light, easy to fold, good quality, steady stroller which I could still take to the countryside. I don't want a city stroller with very small wheels I am looking for something more universal, but easy to carry to my car at the same time. I tried the Uppababy Cruz, Bugaboo Fox, but both seem to be a bit heavy for me. Thank you :)

Hi, Irma,

If the Bugaboo Fox was too heavy, wow, you truly are searching for a lightweight BUT all-terrain stroller! I understand you, and I am a bit sorry you didn't state your child's age, as the needs of a kid vary over time (with age).

My own suggestion here would be a non-reversible stroller for sure, as those come lighter and sturdier, as there are fewer attachment points and joints and mechanisms. My own choice in your case would be the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2, as it is a true all-terrain pushchair while not heavy, and very flat to be carried around.

An even smaller option that would be ok is the TFK Dot 2, but that is not available everywhere - be sure to check, how is it in your country!

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
