A lightweight, ideally parent-facing pushchair to replace our Mamas&Papas Armadillo Flip XT2

Vilma • 19 Jun 2022

Hi Eli,

I am looking for a single stroller up to 9kg weight, parent-facing preference, higher, reclining backrest (because I have a 11-months baby and a 3-year-old). My budget is up to £400 for new or second hand stroller.

At the moment we using Mamas and Papas Flip XT2, but would I like something better. We live in the town near the beach and parks.

I am a very short mum ;)

Thank you for your advice xx

Hi, Vilma,

I would, in your case (too) ;-), go with a Cybx Mios, if you need the reversibility of the seat. It is a light, small pushchair, folds very nicely and small, and the seat is generous enough, even if perhaps not as much as the Flip XT2. The push is nice, even the suspension, evenif the wheels are rather small. I really liked t for around town.

Other than that, I would definitely go for a non-reversible more (such as Oyster Zero, for example), as that is simply so much lighter, easier to handle, while also more affordable and lasts longer (and your younger one is almost a year old, which means you won't use the reversible seat much anymore, with most probability).

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
