Your questions about the Recaro Celona

1)

Hi,

Would you happen to know the overall length for the seat unit? I've looked online and can't find anything! Thankyou in advance!

Heya,

Unfortunately I don't, they don't make this info public and I did not hold it in my hands to measure it myself. I suggest contacting their customer support for this.

Hi, is this stroller compatible with the Joie ilevel car seat? Thanks

Hiya, Saf,

Yes, the Celona as well as the Sadena plus the Recaro/Maxi-Cosi style adapter, the Joie i-Level can be attached to the frame - the attachment system is the same.

Hi,

I have the Recaro Celona stroller and the front wheels often don’t work that well. They kind of get stuck and you can move the stroller forward or to the side, you have to somehow wiggle around until the front wheels are working again. Is this normal or mine has some kind of bug? Why is this happening and so often?

Thank you in advance!

Hello, Mia,

It shouldn't happen - and for it to happen often, it is never good. A stroller can't do everything flawlessly, and certainly not forever without being cared for and cleaned properly, but... Well.

I will, firstly, strongly suggest removing the wheels, clean them from any hair, dirt, whatever can be in the connection of the plastic base and the base on the frame - as well as space where the wheels are rotating and where the connection to the plastic side is. After making sure they're clean (if necessary, you can even try showering them, but don't start with that) - 100% make sure they dry out then lubricate them. Here's a detailed guide to pram and pushchair maintenance to help you out. It's important to care for your stroller every now and then (approx. every two months).

The dirt and/or the lack of lubrication could be the issue - and if you're lucky, it will work OK afterward.

If nothing works, there will be some kind of misalignment or other internal/mechanical problem with the wheels. In that case, do contact the shop/retailer you got your pram. I would describe the problem in-depth, even make a video, and uploaded it on youtube to send them a link... they should help you with either a warranty repair or a frame/wheel replacement. Recaro is considered a quality brand and they should stand behind their products.

Also, please do write a Recaro Celona review here on Strollberry, I mean other features of the Celona (pluses or minuses) would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, and good luck!
