Best Deals for Easywalker Miley
Parent reviews of the Easywalker Miley
- it's perfect!
- lightweight
- compact
- very easy folding system that I can do with only one hand
- fresh coral green color
- accessories INCLUDED!
- brake pedal placement when walking quick 🤨
I wanted a Joolz Aer, but I decided on the Easywalker Miley after seeing it in real... the coral green colorway is so fresh,... I didn't even know that this buggy will make everything I needed come true 🤩 The upholstery, the full recline, space inside, the RUBBER (not EVA foam or plastic) wheels - along with a fantastic push... The one-hand fold is super quick and easy-peasy! The pushchair self-stands after folding, and when unfolded, it feels sturdy and stable. Just around 7 kg, I wouldn't believe it... And there are accessories included (a belly bar, a rain cover, a travel bag, all included). Just pros with this one! Well, maybe except the brake pedal that I seem to push accidentally when I walk quickly... but that may be my bad way of pushing it, to be honest 😊
I highly recommend the steering wheel - my son calms down immediately when being put in the stroller. On the other hand, the wheel squeaks so mums hating noisy toys will lose their nerves after a while :-D
The Miley is mainly for undemanding surfaces, and it should be thought of like that. For travels, it is very nice - it fits the overhead compartment and can be taken in the plane as a carry-on. For occasional use, it also works, but I wouldn't use it as a main, everyday pushchair. We have too many potholes around for many-hour walks with this buggy.
- long napping surface
- accessible storage / basket
- easy folding
- colors
- bumper bar included
- accessories
- I'd love a more upright seat
- it looks weird from the side when fully reclined (strange design of the hood, I guess)
It's simple but functional. A good travel companion, and fits even a larger toddler (when napping.
Your questions about the Easywalker Miley
Hi,
Do you think this stroller is safe for a 4 months old baby? I have this stroller but not sure how suitable it is for the baby. We used it for our toddler. I have this stroller or an option to rent Baby Jogger City Tour for the holiday we are going to.
Thanks in advance :)
Hey, Ninel,
Yes, if used in the fully reclined position, the stroller is ok to use with a 4 months old. There's enough padding and a nice enough recline. I think it is just as good or better than a City Tour.
Does the Miley have a shoulder carry strap?
Hey, Lizzy,
The Miley has an integrated carry bag with shoulder strap, yes.
Hi there!
Thanks so much for the detailed review. I am currently trying to choose a stroller for travel (mainly concerned about plane travel since having the gate checked stroller lost several times in the past on trips to Europe and back).
We currently have an UPPA Baby Vista V2 that was practical as a travel system when baby was smaller, and we could just pop the car seat in there, however now it is too bulky for travel. I am looking into a 2nd stroller for travel and I would really like to have the choice to bring it on the plane or gate check it. My baby is 1 year old and I am struggling between the Easywalker models (Myley or Jackie) or the Babyzen Yoyo2. I don't seem to find any side to side comparisons anywhere for these 2 manufacturers, so I am wondering if you had any tips or pros/cons for these strollers for air travel.
Thanks!
Hi, Dili,
I personally would not go for the Yoyo. Although the build quality is very nice, and the stroller is approved for cabin size, it is VERY slanted, with a VERY short backrest, and most children find it quite uncomfortable. Also, it gets quite expensive. If you don't mind the stroller not having a completely lie-flat recline, and are ok with a higher price, be sure to check the Joolz Aer or the Bugaboo Butterfly which are much taller in the seat back area, and much nicer to push from my experience.
From the Easywalker models, if that is your only other option except for the Yoyo 2, it depends on the age of your child. The difference is that the Jackey can accept a car seat, and folds automatically, you just start the fold, "throwing" the handle forward. With a larger toddler, none of these is very important, and you might rather go for the Miley that has a slightly taller seat back and, from my point of view, a nicer canopy.
Hi,
Can the Easywalker Miley be taken on a plane? Like a trolly?
Hi there, Yarden,
This always depends on the airline you use, so be sure to check the cabin luggage measurements/requirements with the airline you plan to use, but normally, yes, the folded size of 58.5 cm x 44.5 cm x 27.5 cm complies with multiple airlines, and you can even make it a bit smaller even by putting the wheels down and push them into the basket.
Hi,
I am a grandma who has just purchased the Miley and struggling to understand how to fold stroller. I have read instructions and watched youtube video. Is there some simple instructions I can follow please?
Hi, Kezza,
It is actually not hard and I don't think that, apart from the manual and the instructional video, there's something simpler online. The way is to push in this little safety button on the lower part of the handlebar (down in the middle) with your thumb. Then push the internal handle button with the rest of your fingers, and with that, push the handle forward to start the fold. So there are two buttons to push, don't forget.
If nothing works, I would go to any shop selling Easywalker strollers, I think hey will show it to you on site.
Is it possible to attach a buggy board to this stroller?
Hello,
In theory, you can attach a buggy board to almost any stroller frame, this included, yes.
However, the small size of the chassis, the wheels, and the overall size of this ultracompact stroller is not the best for attaching a buggy board. You might damage, make looser the chassis, shorten its usability period, making it rattly and wobbly, not even talking about the bad maneuverability and super small space for your steps. Read more about stroller buggy boards in this article here.
Hello there!
I'm ready to purchase the Miley but I have a question! My son is 2.5 years old and ~95cm tall.
As I see in the reclining position, does not fall all the back. Will my son be comfortable and if he falls asleep in the upright position, can I recline the seat without "breaking" his head?
Thank you in advance ✌️
Hi, Thodoris,
The Miley actually reclines fully, meaning more than 150 degrees. That is the norm allowing to classify a stroller to be rśuitabel even for babies. So, at least from the lie-flat point of view, your son should nap just fine. I have actually 3 sons and the moment they reached about 1.5 years, they were comfortable napping even in a half-reclined position, so I wouldn't necessarily need a lie-flat stroller for an older taller toddler.
About the spaciousness/head-banging of your son, that could be a bit more tricky here. The Easywalker Miley is a ultracompact, which means a small, simple stroller that is not very roomy /more in an article HERE). The seatback here is not overly tall, nor is the legrest. I would NOT expect your son to nap comfortably at his 2.5 years/95 centimeters, he will be a bit cramped in there, unfortunately. For naps, you'd need a larger stroller/taller seat back.
My own advice is to try it out live if possible, OR get a stroller with a taller backrest (e.g., the Joolz Aer/Uppababy Minu that don't recline fully for real), OR get a bit larger pushchair (such as ABC Design Avus or similar mid-size lightweight) - the more so if comfortable naps are your priority. For those, you need space which these super small compact trollers simply don't offer.
Hi,
Can you please tell me what size stroller insert it takes - small, medium or large, or is there a specific size?
Hello, Fiona,
Do you mean an insert as a liner, this pad for the child to sit on? If so, I would suggest a medium size (not overly wide), as the seat is, apart from not being extremely wide, quite normal. It's more the chassis that is small.
I would suggest an Elodie Details seat liner, an Aerovmoov pad, a Diono liner, or anything universal, really. The brands offered quite vary from country to country.
If you need a seat insert for a small baby, do check the Aeromoov Cosymorpho or similar, or the Easywalker Soft Cot.
Are the fabrics removable for washing?
And which model is more recommended - the Jackey or the Miley?
Hey, Yaffa,
Yes, one can remove the textiles, but it's not easy: truly, you'll have hell at home once removing them and again when putting them back. It might take you long. I personally wouldn't remove these. In any case, the Easywalker Miley manual says they ARE removable and washable, but it's mostly hand wash or the mildest program. I recommend reading this stroller cleaning and maintenance guide to help you through giving your buggy a wash.
Also, one pro-tip if you still decide to (machine) wash your stroller - make a video of removing the fabrics so that when putting them back, you can rewatch what goes where. Seriously MANY struggle with putting the fabrics back and sometimes end up giving up (really).
Next, which stroller to choose - the Easywalker Miley or the Easywalker Jackey? Well, both Easywalker strollers are very similar in functions, weight, and size. The difference is, the Miley is simpler. So it is also a tiny bit lighter. The advantage of the 'higher' model Jackey is, firstly, in the autofolding feature - so the stroller folds pretty much by itself, and then, in the compatibility with the (optional) insert soft carrycot or with car seat adapters to be used pretty much right from birth. The canopy of the Jackey is also more elaborate and a bit longer.
If I should say which is "better", I'd say Jackey. BUT the Miley, as a simpler model, is lighter and less expensive, and therefore, if you do not need the from-birth compatibility nor the auto-folding feature, I would go for the Miley.
Please, after deciding, don't forget to leave a review here on Strollberry to help other parents as well! 🙏❤️
Thank you, and good luckchoosing the right stroller for you and your family!
