The Italian stroller brand Inglesina was founded by Liviano Tomasi and his brothers - August and Sergio, just before Christmas in 1963. The first Inglesina stroller, called the London, was inspired by the elegant, traditional prams you could see at the British Royal Court. The name of the company, Inglesina, can be translated into English as the Englishwoman. After the first decade of tradition-inspired, English-style models, Inglesina launched the new, revolutionary Apollo stroller. The brand gradually reached more and more shops around the world and broadened its portfolio with car seats, high chairs, and other childcare products. Inglesina also offers stylish home childcare products under its sub-brand M’Home.
Inglesina is boasting a long tradition, which can still be seen in their traditional, royal Classica model. The company is also embracing innovation and everyday functionality that is obvious in popular modular stroller systems Trilogy and Quad, as well as in the iconic lightweight strollers and umbrella strollers, such as the Espresso or the Zippy Light.
